We rejoice and delight in you; we will praise your love more than wine”” (Song of Songs 1:4) In this verse the bride (the believer) is speaking to her bridegroom (Christ) about her personal communion with him. It is possible to know about Him and yet not to know Him; and it is also possible to know Him just a little or to know Him really well –- look up and compare John 14:9 and Philippians 3:10. This study emphasises the importance of these matters and leads us to consider the following points:- ” 1 .
