Study 9B THE CHRISTIAN’’S BLESSED HOPE
DAYS OF HEAVEN UPON EARTH
(Scripture Portion: Titus 2:1-15)

Think of it this way: Every Christian is going to Heaven, but how are we to get there? The souls of the “”dead in Christ”” are already with Christ, “”which is far better”” (Philippians 1:23); but we are not going to spend eternity as disembodied spirits (2 Corinthians 5:3); one day we shall have a new body like His. But how and when will this take place? The answer is –- at His coming again! 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17 makes it clear that the resurrection of “the dead in Christ” and the transformation and translation of all living believers will take place at the second coming.below are the remaining reason why we should be familiar with His coming.
2 . Second, because this subject relates to every believer .
3 . Third , because this subject dominates biblical revelation .
4 . Fourth , because this subject affects Christian character and conduct .
5 . Fifth , because this subject influences Christian service.
6 . Sixth , because this subject relates to worldwide happenings .
7 . Seventh, because this subject cures the troubled heart.
It is very significant that the promise of our Lord’’s return is set within the context of His promise of Heaven and His desire that we should have untroubled hearts (John 14:1-3). How we need to understand and apply this cure for troubled hearts! Is there any more comforting truth than His assured and near return? Look up 1 Thessalonians 4:18.

It means “good news”, and in John 3:16 we have “the gospel in miniature”, and in 1 Corinthians 15:1-4 we have the gospel defined. (2) It is a precious word. All who are truly saved love this grand old word. (3) It is also a much hated word. The Devil hates it like poison, and so do all who oppose the gospel. (4) It is a greatly misunderstood word. SINS AGAINST THE HOLY SPIRIT MEMORY VERSE : Wherefore I say unto you, all manner of sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven unto men: but the blasphemy against the Holy Ghost shall not be forgiven unto men. Matt. 12:31. BIBLE PASSAGE: Matthew 12:22-37 INTRODUCATION: The Holy Spirit is a person that can be sinned against. Let us beware lest we sin against Him either consciously or unconsciously because the HolySpirit is Fire (Heb. 12:29). And anyone who toys with fire is sure to get burnt. THE HOLY SPIRIT CAN BE BLASPHEMED AGAINST Blasphemy against the Holy Ghost is one sin for which there is no forgiveness (Matt. 12:31-32). It is called the unpardonable sin, the most lawful sin that can be committed on earth. Blasphemy against the Holy Ghost is ascribing to Satan the work of the Holy Spirit.
